In 2006 FRANTOIO ROMANO had participated at the first edition of the “Gold of Etna” competition organized by the Regional Agriculture and Forestry Department of the Sicily Region in collaboration with the Municipality of Ragalna, during the “10th Sagra Dell’olio d’oliva and typical local products “competition reserved for oils produced in the Etna area has achieved the following awards:
Best packaging award in the “Gold of Etna” competition with the Extra Virgin olive oil “Le Sciare”
Best oil award in the “L’oro dell’Etna” section with the extra virgin olive oil “Le Sciare”. In 2007 Frantoio Romano participated at the second edition of the “Etna oil “competition organized by the Regional Agriculture and Forestry Department of the Sicily Region in collaboration with the Municipality of Ragalna, during the “11th Festival of olive oil and typical local products” competition reserved for oils produced in the Etna area, the company has acquired the following awards:
1st classified section Etna oil with “Romano” extra virgin olive oil
3rd place in the “L’oro dell’Etna” section with “Le Sciare” extra virgin olive oil In 2008 Frantoio Romano participated at the exhibition of typical and quality extra virgin olive oils (Trieste) and received “The Honorable Mention Consumers Jury “- Mention of Honor” Consumers Jury
